Note: You can make very good flowers by this method, without the thick trunk. Cut out the leaf shapes and run a seam around the edge, then feed the wire into the seam and shape it to the leaf. Double the end of the wire up to stabilize it before duct taping it to the stick. This puppet requires very thick wire, 9 gauge or thicker. Use very light fabric, preferably translucent, like thin lining cloth.
